Hi, I’m Brian! Diagnosed with a rare bone disease in my spine, I learned just how precious life really is. With the will to live with happiness, I grew up only to quickly realize that finding that joy in the workplace is not as easy as one would hope. Even worse, it seemed like everyone else around me suffered from the same feelings of monotony and unfulfillment. That’s why over the past 15 years I have dedicated my life to becoming an expert in global business and leadership with the sole mission of bringing more fun to work

I received my MBA degree from Pepperdine University, got certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and then traveled abroad to study global enterprise management at the University of Oxford. Since then, I have been hard at work on my PhD in Global Leadership and Change, also from Pepperdine University, finishing in 2019. After traveling around the world to teach in places like Peru, Mexico, China, India, and the UK, I'm back at UC Berkeley, teaching in several programs as an adjunct professor. I also teach at California State University in East Bay.

I’ve been lucky to work for leading industry firms such as BrightView and BioMarin. In 2018, I won San Francisco’s Professional of the Year award from the Institute of Supply Management. When I’m not teaching at UC Berkley you can find me writing articles for Forbes as an official Coaches Council Member, volunteering for Toastmasters International, or hanging out with my wife and son.

Enough about me, let’s chat about how I can best help you! In the meantime, check out my first book called, Learn Laugh Lead! I guarantee you will chuckle before even opening the cover.
